Hi User:Uekyq! I restored the example removed in [1] because it was sourced content. I can't find the new example in the original source [2], so I moved it to the next line, because we can't quote one source for something it didn't say. Also, could you add a source for your example please? 76.71.3.150 (talk) 05:30, 26 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

For the example sentence "The icecube tray froze solid"? I understand the citation needed and will promptly source a quote from the source but the removed sentence is not in the original source. There is a similar sentence "The popsicles froze solid." but that isn't the cited sentence and besides that sentence is directly underneath a label that states it is an unaccusative verb. New quote sourced from the very same source. Hopefully there are no further issues with my edit. Uekyq (talk) 06:02, 26 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for adding an example with a source! The sourcing appears to be good now.
Sorry, I only quickly Ctrl+F'ed for "froze" and didn't notice "The icecube tray froze solid" wasn't in the original source, so thanks for pointing that out. After reading the article carefully, I understand you removed the old example because it's unaccusative not unergative. Removing the old unsourced one and adding the new sourced one means you made the page better! The only thing was the missing bolding, but that's barely an issue. 76.71.3.150 (talk) 06:38, 26 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
