Notability of Hollywood undead

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Hollywood undead, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you feel that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Realkyhick 22:44, 10 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please see my commets on the article's talk page. Realkyhick 02:04, 11 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Update: I have referred the matter to NawlinWiki, an admin who is very good at handling such matters. He suggested that you might want to consider a process known as deletion review. I'm not familiar with the process, I suggest you communicate with him and have him walk you through the process. Don't forget to put the four tilde characters at the end of your messages. I was just wondering if you know how to unprotect the talk page. its still protected even though the articles not which is kinda strange. thanks! Evaunit666 00:19, 15 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I've asked User:NawlinWiki to unsalt it. Until then, I posted a message at the top of the article itself, explaining that this article is to be subjected to a formal AfD procedure. Realkyhick 02:33, 15 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
The page has been restored and set up for a formal AfD process. Realkyhick 07:01, 15 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
