I concur with you that Albert Pierrepoint's true feelings are subject to doubt. However, I do not like your term "allegedly" because it leaves unsaid WHO made that allegation. Since English is not my mother tongue, I'd like YOU to find a better word. I feel that the matter to be expressed should be along the lines of "When no longer active, Pierrepoint shed doubt on his stance towards the capital punishment. He wrote... but..." But perhaps that could be said with fewer words. Anyway, I'd like to have made clear that it was Pierrepoint himself who made that "allegation".--Kauko56 (talk) 13:37, 23 February 2008 (UTC)
