Natalie's Feedback

[edit]

The title is short and simple and to the point of your topic. I like how you changed the first sentence so that it is clearly what discount rate is. Overall, I think the lead is clear summary about what discount rate is. Your contribution all seems to be in your own words and there are no quotations, so you aren't using that too much, which is good. I know very little about discount rates, but was able to clearly understand it. There is nothing in your article that sways the reader any way. The headings you have are good, but I would maybe add a little more to the second sections and/or add another section. Maybe talk more about the Great Depression and what happened after this. I would also make sure to use the fifth source somewhere in the article. I would proof read your article again, since there are mistakes. The first sentence should say something like "Discount rate policy is a tool taken by The Central Bank or The Federal Reserve System TO control the money circulation by raising or lowering interest rates" which added the word too after The Federal Reserve System. Overall, I think what you have is a good start, but just growing out it will make it even better.
