British National Party

[edit]

Be aware of WP:3RR Tentontunic (talk) 14:34, 18 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on British National Party. Users are expected to collaborate with others and avoid editing disruptively.

In particular, the three-revert rule states that:

  1. Making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period is almost always grounds for an immediate block.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you continue to edit war, you may be blocked from editing without further notice.. Last warning use the talk page stop edit warring. --Snowded TALK 13:22, 31 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Marine Le Pen

[edit]

Early life and childhood

[edit]

You put a photo in the new rubric Early life and childhood. Since this photo was uncategorized, I attached it in the Category:Marine_Le_Pen which now owns twenty photos. I would thank you for the creation of the useful rubric Early life and childhood. This photo really illustrates well the section.

These two sentences (The three sisters were teased at school that "papa" was a "fascist". At eight, Marine survived a bomb attack on the family as they slept in their beds.) are very important to understand Marine Le Pen's political committment and human personality. After your latest edits, the text now appears very understandable. Since English is not my natural language, I prefer to write short sentences and I frequently use some online dictionaries to select the most appropriate word.

About "Breton politician", I prefered "French politician from Brittany" since France is a centralized country and Jean-Marie Le Pen is not a regionalist politician. Brittany did not play an important role for his political carrier since he was elected as MP and later as municipal councillor in Paris and more recently as regional councillor (Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur) and MEP (South-East France constituency). In France, other politicians from Brittany, Lorraine, Auvergne or even Corse are not perceived as "Breton", "Lorrain", "Auvergnat" or "Corse" but as "French".

Thank you again for your constructive work on this article.--Jérôme MORENO HERRERO 17:49, 23 March 2011 (UTC) User:Jeromemoreno

Apology

[edit]

On the BNP talk page you wrote: "Thats rubbish and you know it, people keep on changing the goal posts and changing there excuses for not allowing neutrality to prevail on this page," 1) I don't believe what I wrote was rubbish, and was my true opinion. 2) I have not changed any goalposts, this is a position that has been mentioned many times over the years, and has been my opinion for a long while. 3) I am not making any excuses or trying to prevent neutrality, merely uphold the policies of wikipedia, and act in good offices to try and achieve consensus. Could you please, therefore, publicly on the same talk page post a retraction and an apology. Remember WP:ASSUME, please.--Red Deathy (talk) 06:58, 2 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Canvasing

[edit]

You recent post to me is skating a bit close to requesting cavvasing. It is not a good idea to activly seek editors who you think support your aims, or to aks others to do so.Slatersteven (talk) 15:32, 2 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of Sand3

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Sand3, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion," which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
