Problems with upload of File:Lost boys the thirst dvd.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Lost boys the thirst dvd.jpg. You don't seem to have said where the image came from, who created it, or what the copyright status is. The article The Evil Dead (film) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No citations, article fails WP:NFF

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Welcome to Wikipedia. While everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, a number of your recent file uploads, such as File:Witch and Wizard 2 Cover.jpeg From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia, had missing or false information regarding their source and copyright status. Please note that Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. Images and other media must only be uploaded if their copyright status meets the conditions stated in our image use policy, and if their provenance is clearly documented. If you have questions, feel free to ask at the copyright question page or on my talk page. Thank you. Eeekster (talk) 02:44, 2 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not remove file deletion tags from file description pages on Wikipedia, as you did to File:Witch and Wizard 2 Cover.jpeg, without resolving the problem that the template refers to, or giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your removal of this template does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Thank you. Eeekster (talk) 02:47, 2 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Carlton Cuse may have broken the syntax by modifying 2 "[]"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to 2014 in home video may have broken the syntax by modifying 4 "[]"s and 4 "{}"s likely mistaking one for another. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, BracketBot (talk) 02:23, 11 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited 2014 in home video, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page True Detective (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 08:58, 11 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
