Adding names of exoplanets to planetbox along with other changes and additions

[edit]

When you add names of exoplanets in intro section, you should also add names of exoplanets to planetbox under other designations with ref tag. In addition to this, you should also change mass to minimum_mass in planetbox and remove > before mass value, but not for articles about transiting planets or others with known inclinations. And you should add apparent magnitude of stars in planetbox star if apparent magnitude is not there yet. BlueEarth (talk | contribs) 22:31, 23 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Images

[edit]

Perhaps you could categorize your images into the standard hierarchy?

Your planet images should categorize into Category:planetary images ; if the image also contains a star it should also categorize into Category:Star images ; if it only contains a star it should go into the second category mentioned earlier but not the first.

Wladimir Lyra

[edit]

Hello, are you Wladimir Lyra? If you are Wladimir Lyra, don't you suggest names for 30 Arietis Bb, QS Virginis b, Gamma1 Leonis b, both planets around HD 215497, HD 205739 b, and BD+14°4559 b. BlueEarth (talk | contribs) 22:34, 9 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Celestia images

[edit]

When you insert your Celestia images into an exoplanet article please state them as an artists's impression and not as Orig Research. -- Kheider (talk) 18:17, 17 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

There's a relevant discussion on the planetbox template's talk page. (Also, I've gone through some of the recent additions and added an indication in the captions that they are "artist's impressions".) AldaronT/C 18:38, 17 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:HD 203857 and Planet.png. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. FASTILYsock(TALK) 21:24, 17 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. In Cthulhu Mythos celestial bodies, you recently added a link to the disambiguation page Hyades (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Image modification request

[edit]

Since you uploaded the image File:Tau Geminorum and brown dwarf.png, I was wondering if it might be possible for you to modify the rendering so that is shows a more accurate representation of the light from the primary being reflected off the companion? The latter should have a respectable albedo, perhaps comparable to Jupiter or Saturn, so it should be showing a bright crescent. As it is right now, the brown dwarf looks more like a black hole. Thank you. Regards, RJH (talk) 20:00, 8 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The article James Ambuehl deities has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No indication of notability. No references to support any sort of notability.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
