Information icon Please do not introduce links in actual articles to draft articles, as you did to The Voice (franchise). Since a draft is not yet ready for the main article space, it is not in shape for ordinary readers, and links from articles should not go to a draft. Such links are contrary to the Manual of Style. These links have been removed. Thank you. - Arjayay (talk) 21:56, 14 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited The Voice (American TV series) season 4, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Usher. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Information icon Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed that one or more recent edit(s) you made did not have an edit summary. You can use the edit summary field to explain your reasoning for an edit, or to provide a description of what the edit changes. Summaries save time for other editors and reduce the chances that your edit will be misunderstood. For some edits, an adequate summary may be quite brief.

The edit summary field looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

Please provide an edit summary for every edit you make. With a Wikipedia account you can give yourself a reminder by setting Preferences → Editing → Tick Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary, and then click the "Save" button. Thanks! Happily888 (talk) 08:43, 20 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in The Voice (Australian TV series) season 13, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Happily888 (talk) 08:44, 20 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not use styles that are nonstandard, unusual, inappropriate or difficult to understand in articles, as you did in The Voice (Australian TV series) season 13. I didn't edit or do anything to that page this month or recently. I was also the one who created that page too. I mean I'm sorry about it and it won't happen again, but I haven't been touching it in a while. TypicallyRyan (talk) 04:02, 8 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Alright, I just checked the logs, I guess I did make an edit and I just forgot about it. But it won't happen again. TypicallyRyan (talk) 04:03, 8 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

New Judges' Table

[edit]

Oh damn, where did that go? I liked it. I was about to update it w/ a few missing pieces, such as Mariah's guest mentoring in season 7; Harry's other guest mentor appearance in season 12; Carrie's two GM appearances in seasons 16 and 20; Keith's GM appearance in season 21; and that's it, thus far.

You could actually use that table to include the hosts and Jimmy Iovine, Borshitta [sic, can't stand him], and Bobby Bones as well for their respective tenures too. Because Randy's "mentor" would be a different color, as in-house mentor, akin to Jimmy, Scott, and Bobby. --Cinemaniac86TalkStalk 12:42, 22 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

It clashed in with the selection process and the first time I tried using that, it almost deleted the majority of the page. But I can try to add it again if you want me to. TypicallyRyan (talk) 17:50, 22 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Or actually let me rephrase that, the table kept showing underneath the "Selection Process" section everytime I would try putting that in and I was editing under the Judges and host section too instead of the whole thing. Before that it almost deleted the majority of the page which wasn't good but, I can try adding it back in though, cause I agree the other table isn't as good cause it'll make people think each judge lasted one season longer than their actual time span. TypicallyRyan (talk) 17:59, 22 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I'm sorry to be spamming your notifcations lol, but I managed to get the table in without any issues so it should be all good now. TypicallyRyan (talk) 20:00, 22 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Haha, no worries, I wasn't terribly active this afternoon (and my e-mail is so full of spam, I ignore it and need a new one).
Table looks awesome! I think since that one paragraph covers all those one-off guest judges, that should suffice. I thought about those briefly as a separate chart, and then I thought…………………………That'd be insane.
The only person—or maybe 2?—noteworthy ones I think we should perhaps add are Kelly Clarkson and Adam Lambert: Kelly for being an actual on-air at the table judge on the Season 15 top 10, in addition to a mentor s14; and Adam has been a mentor thrice (Kradam were my top 2, but it is the bane of my existence every time he returns and by default, it just pisses on Kris another time lol) plus guest judge during auditions one city subbing for Keith--and also was kind of a fashion mentor in season 13 alongside Daughtry, but that doesn't pertain to singing so let's not go overboard maybe? Lol.
Basically I just figured Kelly and Adam crossed the threshold because they sat at the judging table. Agreed? Especially Kelly, because hers was actually for a performance show. --Cinemaniac86TalkStalk 02:08, 23 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Now I hope I'm not bombarding you, lol. I added the bandleaders too; Rickey, Ray, and Kris. They're all notable and were quite present. Also Debra Byrd, vocal coach. I know that she's listed as being there for 10 seasons. (Although I don't recall her much in season 10, because all I remember is Peggi Blu, "SING, DAMNIT!", <3333) Beyond that, I wanted to wait to hear feedback from you. Pretty much think that covers everyone, except Kieran the light-dimmer, haha. --Cinemaniac86TalkStalk 02:58, 23 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah having all the guest judges on there would be insane to have lol. But no I actually like the new additions with the guest judges that crossed the threshold and the musical directors as well. Debra Byrd was on in Season 10 and 11 I think I could be wrong but I know she was there in the hall of idols era of AI. But other than that I like the new additions you put on. Hopefully people don't try to revamp it lol. If they do then oh well, at least we tried contributing to it lol. TypicallyRyan (talk) 17:28, 23 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Oh and one more thing, I wouldn't mind adding Kieran and Tom to the chart if that suits you, I'm going to look at the chart again and see how that could play out and then I can message you again after that lol. TypicallyRyan (talk) 17:29, 23 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Crap, I'm on your talk page LOL w/e. Ugh, the chart/table itself is perfect, but the color key…I was trying to interweave the "col-break" code to split them into 2 columns of 6 (Host/Judge/Mentor on left; rest on right), but it went into fucking PICASSO mode or some shit. So I'm gonna put it back the way it was. It actually reverted to 3 columns, but I tightened it. Lmk! --Cinemaniac86TalkStalk 21:50, 26 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
No you’re all good lol. If you’re having issues with it then I can try fixing it myself if you need me to. TypicallyRyan (talk) 22:17, 26 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Please note that articles with over 15,000 words are considered extremely big per WP:TOOBIG. The appropriate place to update the information of each variant is their own article, not The Voice (franchise). Northern Moonlight 20:10, 13 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Ok well firstly, I'm not even the one who made the article and secondly that's the way the article is supposed to be and if you don't like how that's formatted then I can't really do much about it. So just leave it the way it was. TypicallyRyan (talk) 00:39, 14 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
that’s the way the article is supposed to be
No, it isn’t. There’s a Wikipedia policy on article size and this one is clearly over the top. You have reverted twice and not a single time have you cited an appropriate policy, and even after I started a discussion on your talk page. This is not a formatting issue, it’s a MOS issue. Revert again and risk getting WP:3RR.
Northern Moonlight 00:49, 14 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Dude, thats the way the article is supposed to be formatted. I'm not the one who made it and you aren't either. That article took YEARS to make for fans of the show. If you don't like it then that's on you. Just leave it alone bro. TypicallyRyan (talk) 00:53, 14 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
