Information icon Hello, I'm Donald Albury. I noticed that you recently removed content from Jacksonville, Florida without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. This has already been discussed on the talk page. Tyenglish (talk) 15:20, 1 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
The consensus seemed clearly to be keeping the content. ... discospinster talk 15:22, 1 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
The consensus was from people who dont live in Jacksonville and fond a handful of examples from people are irrelevant to the location. It is an inaccurate representation of Jacksonville and its citizens. Tyenglish (talk) 15:23, 1 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Are you under the impression that the contents of Wikipedia are based solely on the outlook of residents of Jacksonville, Florida? Even articles on specific places aren't owned by the people of those places, their content isn't controlled by their experiences only, let alone do we allow a single person to presume to tell us what people in the place generally do or don't think.
How many times does this have to be explained to you? Did you think the way this works had changed since you spread the same debate out over several months last year? The discussion was held, and you didn't persuade anyone. Now you're blocked for 24 hours. Hopefully, once the block lifts, you'll have come to understand that your certainty that you're right doesn't override everyone else's viewpoints nor does it justify your disruptive behavior. Largoplazo (talk) 19:36, 1 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to Jacksonville, Florida, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please make use of the sandbox if you'd like to experiment with test edits. Thank you. ... discospinster talk 15:20, 1 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon with clock
You have been blocked from editing for a period of 24 hours for edit warring, as you did at Jacksonville, Florida. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  ... discospinster talk 15:25, 1 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
