Premature categories

[edit]

Per WP:CRYSTALBALL we don't create categories such as Category:2019 births until they're actually needed - and by not categorising it properly you just create work for other people.Le Deluge (talk) 21:57, 10 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on A.G. Cox Middle School requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company, corporation or organization that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. ___CAPTAIN MEDUSAtalk 18:23, 14 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Dashes

[edit]

Hi. Please note that Wikipedia uses the "endash" character as a separator in many places where you might be used to typing a "hyphen", including separating two dates in a range, like this edit at Smallman, which I fixed. Please see MOS:DASH and MOS:DATE for further guidance. —[AlanM1(talk)]— 02:18, 16 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm NinjaRobotPirate. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person on A. J. Benza, but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source, so I removed it. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 05:08, 12 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

More than 60% of Wikipedia’s things are unsourced. I put it there because of this https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0073128/

The solution to that problem is to add more citations, not to add more unsourced content. The IMDb is not a reliable source, and its content should not be imported into Wikipedia. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 16:27, 12 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Caps

[edit]

Please see MOS:CAPS – Wikipedia uses capital letters sparingly. Thanks. —[AlanM1(talk)]— 12:02, 15 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
