Hi. Am new to writing actual articles although have done some rudimentary editing.
I have a page open called Creating User:Twirl73/sandbox and have put some trial content in there.
If I press 'Publish Page' does this basically save the sandbox article (i.e. not published, not visible to anyone apart from myself when logged in)?
Many thanks.

- "Publish page" indeed saves it - and then it's visible to everybody who knows where to look for it. Wikipedia doesn't have "private" pages that only the author can see. In fact, the former"Save page" button was deliberately renamed "Publish page" to emphasize that saved content is public. Huon (talk) 01:16, 7 March 2019 (UTC)
