[edit]You may request a change of name and unblock if you intend to make useful contributions other than promoting your business or organization. To do this, first search Special:CentralAuth for available usernames that comply with the username policy. Once you have found an acceptable username, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}}
at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with your new username and replace the text "Your reason here" with your reasons to be unblocked. In your reasons, you must:
- Disclose any compensation you may receive for your contributions in accordance with the Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure requirement.
- Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked.
- Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
{{unblock|Your reason here}}
at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your reason here" with the reasons you believe the block was an error, and publish the page. Orange Mike | Talk 05:43, 14 February 2021 (UTC)Hello Orange Mike. We do not understand why our account was blocked. Just because our username goes by the name of our company, it just can't magically make it violate the username policy. Were not showing our real names as of now. Please unblock us so we can change our username. Thanks Tuxedo Labs (talk) 15:43, 14 February 2021 (UTC)
- Tuxedo Labs, shared accounts are not allowed on Wikipedia, as an accounts' edits are meant to represent a single person. Therefore, usernames that imply shared use are also prohibited to prevent confusion. Steve M (talk) 16:42, 14 February 2021 (UTC)
- Please see WP:UNC for advice on changing usernames in regards to the username policy. @Orangemike: The user stated their willingness to change their name in the above comment, maybe you can assist them with this. Regards, IceWelder [✉] 12:06, 25 February 2021 (UTC)

Re: Teardown
[edit]Seeing that you are unfortunately still blocked, allow me to quickly respond to your message right here, so you can reply if necessary. As I outlined in my original reply, I am aware that Teardown is available per se (given that I wrote the entire article and am playing the game myself). However, we need to use the "upcoming" for early-access games (like Teardown) per our guidelines located at Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Video games, which read in part:
{emphasis added)Early releases such as open beta-testing periods, early access, or other similar mechanics should not be included in the infobox once the game is actually released. While the game is in an early release state, that early release date may be included in the infobox, but it should be indicated as an early release, and in the article prose, the game should be treated as an upcoming video game that has yet to receive a full release for all other purposes.
Label unreleased, pre-release, and early access games as "upcoming".
This applies to all early-access video games, so if any such article does not mention "upcoming", it does so in error. I hope this clears your question up a bit. Regards, IceWelder [✉] 14:02, 12 March 2021 (UTC)
- It really is a shame how I took the time to respond to this twice only to later find out that it was just a sock impersonating the developers... IceWelder [✉] 09:55, 15 March 2021 (UTC)
