Your submission at Articles for creation

[edit]
Thank you for your recent submission to Articles for Creation. Your article submission has been reviewed. The submission has not been accepted because it included copyrighted information, which is not permitted on Wikipedia. You are welcome to write an article on the subject, but please do not use copyrighted work.
Further to your query on my talkpage, I have now corrected the review, it was the lyrics that I felt were very likely to be infringing someone's copyright - it is not normal practice to include these in articles. I have restored the other items of the page, but have to decline the page in its current form due to not being clear that the references provided are reliable sources. For information of what constitutes independent reliable sources see WP:RS. You are of course free to resubmit at any time, but I'd advise improvements in terms of the references are necessary to establish notability before acceptance is likely. Hope this makes sense --nonsense ferret 16:13, 9 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Further to your additional query on my talkpage, you are free to resubmit your article for consideration at any time, but I have to advise you that without multiple references to significant independent coverage in reliable sources then it is unlikely that your article will be accepted - see WP:GNG. Regarding the other article you have referred to, I have only had the quickest of looks, but it does not appear ever to have been reviewed, and I would question whether it meets the necessary criteria of notability - the only coverage seems to be in blogs. If notability is not establishable, then it is very possible that this article will be nominated for deletion. --nonsense ferret 10:15, 10 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hello TurbineMidnight. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "Sparks Nevada, Marshal on Mars".

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Sparks Nevada, Marshal on Mars}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, click "Save", and an administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. HasteurBot (talk) 00:09, 20 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
