You deleted my additions

[edit]

Hi Tunnels of Set. You have deleted my additions as spam and noted that my site (www.ancientegyptonline.co.uk) sells jewellery and other items. I actually have another site (www.kemetdesign.co.uk) which sells items that I make myself, but Ancient Egypt Online is not a commercial website, it just has a link to the other site.

In particular, I added the link to the Gardiner's page because the site has the complete list of signs along with their meaning and this information is not already listed on the page. If this was inappropriate I apologise, there was no intention to spam people, just to provide useful information.

I look forward to your comments,

regards Satseshat

Your question on my talk page

[edit]

Hi Tunnels of Set. What is going on is this. There was a conflict which revolved around the Starwood festival and some related pages. This conflict has become a matter for the Arbitration Committee. My watch list helps me keep track of the various comments and contributions of the editors involved. There is concern that sockpuppets may be involved in the conflict. I imagine that you were added to the watch list because of the possibility that you may be a sock puppet. If you have any further questions, I would be happy to answer them to the extent that I am able. Sincerely, --BostonMA talk 20:36, 6 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Liposuction of trivia

[edit]

I applaud your efforts in various Greek mythology articles, but I'm afraid you'll soon come up against the Low Element here. Courage! --Wetman 10:08, 12 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

How is it Inappropriate

[edit]

The links that were added to Astrology main page had relevant articles as is the case of other links as are mentioned. Would you read the link pages and the information given on them, before deleting the links? Do let me know, what you found inappropriate in them.

Check this out

[edit]

Hi

Like the site I had inserted, the following site is commercial too: http://www.astrojyoti.com/bphsindex.htm. I do not see you deleting the same. The links I had added had articles on Astrology and had links on the side panel to commercial pages. It is just the same in the given link which you haven't deleted.

I guess your explanation is not enough unless you delete all such sites.

Deletion of Lamia_(mythology) trivia

[edit]

Rather than an all-out deletion of the entire article's trivia it would be nice if you chased up some of the mentioned points and locate possible citation. I find trivia often a tickling point of interest and loosing it all for an article is not my idea of an improvement. I'd be happy to help chase up citation for the various points if you're interested. Klepas 23:16, 16 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
