This is a great set of references. It is painstakingly neutral. I hope that in the final article you are able to say twhether there are data, and in particular any recent studies, that support the claims about IQ in particular and lexical development in general.

Be cautious about the relevance of children who are exposed to ASL - this is a language system, baby sign is not a language system, or at least typically not, because it is parasitic on the parents' spoken language. I am particularly concerned about the use of the 1980 case study. Difficult to generalize from that.
