Please do not add commercial links or links to your own private websites to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or a mere collection of external links. You are, however, encouraged to add content instead of links to the encyclopedia. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. See the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. -- Longhair 05:51, 17 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Helpme

[edit]

I received the following message on my talk page:

Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be a mechanism for responding on the page and Longhair doesn't have an email address. I would like to know how the UCodit page is any different than the Koders or Krugle pages that are not being dinged. I am providing this page as information on a service that allows for open source source code search. How do I move to remove the questionable status of the page? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ttudor (talkcontribs)

To send Longhair a message, click here. It appears you received that warning because the first edit you made to WikiPedia was to insert a link into an article. --Casper2k3 06:58, 17 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I reapplied the {{notability}} tag to UCodit because I still don't believe that the article in its current form meets the notability guidelines of WP:WEB or WP:SOFTWARE. Please see these guidelines and add relevant information. Thanks, Scientizzle 17:53, 17 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
