I just made a change to http://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Media_coverage_of_the_Arab%E2%80%93Israeli_conflict - but didn't find how to document the change. Here is the explanation: basically, I contracted the sentence "[Another study done by FAIR shows that] the media consider Israel's actions "retaliation" to Palestinian violence despite Israel being the aggressor". This states that the claim that Israel is an aggressor was discovered objectively by FAIR, and that the whole of "the Media" are reporting in error. This is unFAIR. In fact, the whole section should probably be deleted because of different modes of operation and thought. Israel never declares an operation as retaliation, but probably briefs the media. Hamas retaliates on Israel for having been born, and refers to all Israeli actions as crimes. I see no easy way to resolve this. Tselly (talk) 08:20, 5 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Tselly. There are a couple of ways to document a change. The first one is to use an edit summary when you make the edit. (It's too late for that now, but it's a good idea to use them in future).
The second way is simply to explain the edit on the article's talk page, in this case at Talk:Media coverage of the Arab–Israeli conflict.
Be aware that editing in this area is difficult, and that you'll encounter editors with strong points of view. Do your best to edit from a neutral point of view, i.e. report both sides and avoid "editorialising". Good luck! TFOWR 13:16, 5 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
