Do not re-insert AfD notice in REALbasic article

[edit]

Please stop re-inserting[1][2] the AfD notice in the Realbasic article. The debate was closed as of 06:19, 14 March 2006 (UTC) by admin Capitalistroadster with the result Speedy keep. Your behavior is not helpful. Lambiam 22:20, 14 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

If you are going to complain about how POV the REALBasic article is, I suggest you edit it yourself in an encyclopedic tone to try to improve the article rather than simply complaining about the article (within the article.) That would be most helpful. Grandmasterka 23:51, 14 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

REALbasic

[edit]

Hi TIA, There are other ways to solve a dispute then how you are going about it. Try WP:RfC perhapse. As a last resort you could check out WP:RfM. ---J.Smith 01:28, 15 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

REALbasic revert war

[edit]

I'm concerned about the revert war presently taking place in the REALBasic article. I believe your edits are well-intentioned but nonetheless harmful. I have reverted them, and have placed my concerns on the talk page. Please read my thoughts on the matter before reposting your material. I sincerely hope this can be resolved without having to appeal to Wikipedia bureaucracy. Vslashg (talk) 18:13, 18 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Screen shots added for previous ide history so here is your proof. Waant more proof then verify for yourself by downloading copies of RB and running them (duh?). The bugs can easily be reproduced by following the instructions provided. Application size can be duplicated by following the instructions provided. You really want me to add more screen shots as proof or you want text whichc an easily be verified by the user by running RB and following instructions. This article is getting real close to being reported to the Attorney General of my State.

Please refer to WP:V and especially WP:OR. What we specifically need is not your screenshots or information, but rather material that has been published by reputable sources. Vslashg (talk) 05:16, 19 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

None of the information provided by Real Software is verified by outside sources; there are no links to outside sources. This article is also maintained by Real Software and is bias. Unless this information can be verified by outside sources who ARE NOT connected with Real Software then this article needs to be removed. Lets see here you want me provide copies of previously published material by others to include in this article, yet doing so is a violation of copyright rights laws. That is impossible! Duh! Just as this article provides unverfied code samples which you must try in order to find out if they work, you must follow the steps for reproducing the LONG TERM HISTORICAL bugs listed. The images provided by Real software are not verfied by 3rd party sources not connected to Real Software, thus you must download and copy of Realbasic to see if they are truthful are not; thus you must verfiy my images by downloading a copy of RS and to see if they are truthful. This article is about the programming language of REALbasic, which predates the existance of REal Software, not an advertising campiagn for Real Software.

Of course he's asking you to cite published material, not provide copies of it. How do you know this is maintained by REALBasic? To me, an outsider to this before the AfD discussion erupted, this seemed like a simple article that said what it was and what it geatured. It wouldn't have struck me as being POV. You have been blocked for 24 hours

[edit]

You have been blocked for 24 hours for violation of the 3 revert rule on REALbasic. --Woohookitty(cat scratches) 07:32, 19 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

How do I know this page is maintained by Real software, well read the article page quote "Maintainer: REAL Software, Inc."; duh, does that ring a bell?

The information does cite published articles; direct links to the articles in question.
