Mohsen Milani Page Sources
[edit]Hello user scope creep. I am not sure as to why this article has been tagged. Allow me to point you to all of the RELIABLE VERIFIABLE SOURCES that are embedded into the page.
Iran in a Reconnecting Eurasia is a book that you can easily google to verify, but it has LINKED the book as well as the center at which the person is located. Secondly, the center itself for the University of South Florida (complete with the biography of this Professor as well as his publications) is listed in external links. Thirdly, Iran and Russia's uncomfortable alliance is linked in foreign policy- again accompanied by an external link to his foreign policy profile.
The works themselves are listed in a MLA citation format so that any of the individual works are easily found through a simple scholar search.
This would mean that the article not only has UNIVERSITY LEVEL TEXTBOOKS and MAGAZINE PUBLICATIONS AND JOURNAL ARTICLES clearly linked, but additional biographical information is present as well with verifiable links.
If you continue to mark this page for deletion, I am going to request that you provide VERY SPECIFIC recommendations on how to improve the page, because your criticism of lack of verifiable citation is groundless.
Hello, Trijeets. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Mohsen Milani, for deletion because it's a biography of a living person that lacks references. If you don't want Mohsen Milani to be deleted, please add a reference to the article.
If you don't understand this message, you can leave a note on my talk page.

[edit]Hello, Trijeets. I see you removed the BLP-prod tag. This article, although notable, has no reliable verifiable sources. Biographies of Living People on Wikipedia must have sources, otherwise they are deleted. Have a read of WP:sources. Also please sign your article with four tilda's 'scope_creep (talk) 10:05, 18 December 2016 (UTC)' like this, obviously without the single quotation marks. This will enable people to know who you are when you post. The article will be going into the WP:AFD. This is a slower form of deletion process, but without sources, it will be deleted. Put some sources in it. scope_creep (talk) 10:05, 18 December 2016 (UTC)

[edit]Dear @Trijeets, according to Wikipedia rules a biography of a living person, must have strong verifiable sources to prove who the person is. I will provide very specific recommendations to improve the page now. Add verifiable sources, which have been kindly provided by User:X4n6 in the WP:AFD page for this article, into the article as defined in Wikipedia:Verifiability, Wikipedia:Biographies of living persons and other standards. If you can't do it, the WP:Teahouse is a good place to ask, or I can help. scope_creep (talk) 11:27, 23 April 2017 (UTC)

[edit]Hi Trijeets, Firstly notes go at the bottom of the page, not at the top. I have created several references in your article, to show you how it is done. There is different for documents, publications, people, web. Please use them to add other sources from X4n6 list. Either use cite web, cite journal, cite news, which can be found here Wikipedia:Citing sources. Make sure all the fields are filled in including dates, so if the information goes missing we don't have a dead link, the more tags filled in, on the reference the better it is to find it later, if the link goes dead. For google book references, which I see you have a number of books we have the Wikipedia citation tool for Google Books. Put the Google books URL in the field, and a WP ref is made at the bottom. Very quick way of making a number of valid refs quickly. I've included one on the article. Please fix the publication list as well. scope_creep (talk) 12:04, 23 April 2017 (UTC)
- Take those bare urls out. They are not used in WP. Hope that helps. scope_creep (talk) 12:10, 23 April 2017 (UTC)
