Football player infoboxes

[edit]

Thankyou for your input into the football player articles, but please do not amend the infoboxes to show season by season appearances & goals - this is not appropriate. The infobox is only a summary of a player's career. If you want to show season by season details, you should include these as a table in the body of the article.Daemonic Kangaroo 17:39, 30 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I think, than better see, in which season footballer played good or bad. My english knowledge isn`t excelent, because i am making these infobox with stats. Ok, in future, i don`t write stats season by season. Treisijs 17:54, 30 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hello

[edit]

Thanks for writing notes about footballers . You do an exellent job ! I try to write now some notes about some old players who participated in World Cup . If you have any good source about it (especially about players who participated in FIFA World Cup before Second World War , I'd be glad to see your notes. An editor has nominated FS Metta-Latvijas Universitāte Rīga, an article on which you have worked or that you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not"). Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/FS Metta-Latvijas Universitāte Rīga and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. List of Latvian footballers

[edit]

A {{prod}} template has been added to the article List of Latvian footballers, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice explains why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. A template you created, Template:1. liga, has been marked for deletion as a deprecated and orphaned template. If, after 14 days, there has been no objection, the template will be deleted. If you wish to object to its deletion, please list your objection here and feel free to remove the {{deprecated}} tag from the template. If you feel the deletion is appropriate, no further action is necessary. Cheers. --MZMcBride 19:14, 5 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:FC Daugava.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. License tagging for Image:JFC Kauguri.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:JFC Kauguri.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 11:08, 7 October 2007 (UTC)

Speedy deletion of Template:Baltic League

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Template:Baltic League requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section T3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a deprecated or orphaned template. After seven days, if it is still unused and the speedy deletion tag has not been removed, the template will be deleted.

If the template is intended to be substituted, please feel free to remove the speedy deletion tag and please consider putting a note on the template's page indicating that it is substituted so as to avoid any future mistakes (<noinclude>{{transclusionless}}</noinclude>).

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Abuls smiltene.gif)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Abuls smiltene.gif. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 06:02, 3 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Unreferenced BLPs

[edit]

Hello Treisijs! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 9 of the articles that you created are tagged as Unreferenced Biographies of Living Persons. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to insure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. if you were to bring these articles up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 795 article backlog. Once the articles are adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the list:

You are now a Reviewer

[edit]

Hello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged protection, is currently undergoing a two-month trial scheduled to end 15 August 2010.

Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under pending changes. Pending changes is applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial. The list of articles with pending changes awaiting review is located at Special:OldReviewedPages.

When reviewing, edits should be accepted if they are not obvious vandalism or BLP violations, and not clearly problematic in light of the reason given for protection (see Wikipedia:Reviewing process). More detailed documentation and guidelines can be found here.

If you do not want this userright, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. Courcelles (talk) 17:31, 18 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The article Squad changes in Dinaburg FC has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Old article that links to nowhere and is not worthy of an article.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. EchetusXe 13:34, 19 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Aleksandrs Ivanovs requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia, because it appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion process. If you can indicate how it is different from the previously posted material, place the template {{hang on}} underneath the other template on the article and put a note on the page's discussion page saying why this article should stay. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. If you believe the original discussion was unjustified, please contact the administrator who deleted the page or use deletion review instead of continuing to recreate the page. Thank you. Revert changes to Sápmi (area)

[edit]

I reverted your removal of the inter-wiki links in the Sápmi (area) article, since the Lapland (region) article is a subset of the Sápmi article (my understanding is that it is a the Sápmi article written with non-Sami NPOV[sic]). Refer to the talk pages of these articles for a description of the mess. Labongo (talk) 11:04, 14 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Bitumen

[edit]

stop diff

This is not an acceptable edit - if you had checked the links you would have seen that some of the links you created pointed to the equivalent of Asphalt concrete - a different topic. Please check what you are doing in future.Imgaril (talk) 17:16, 16 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Interwikis to both can not be. Must choose only one, "asphalt" or "bitumen" interwikis. At this moment I write article in Latvian, but I don't understand, which interwikis put in my article. --Treisijs (talk) 17:20, 16 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
