Speedy deletion of UNFORGIVEN - a FriutPop production
[edit]A tag has been placed on UNFORGIVEN - a FriutPop production requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. jonny-mt(t)(c)Tell me what you think! 06:33, 16 November 2007 (UTC)

Hi Treble1565,
I just wanted to stop by and leave you a note about why I tagged your article (UNFORGIVEN - a FriutPop production) for speedy deletion. Essentially, the threshhold for inclusion in Wikipedia is notability as defined by reliable sources (which also allow for verification of content. Notability is determined by a number of factors, but the most important are the coverage of the topic in third-party sources. In addition, some types of content such as musical groups and people have specific requirements for inclusion--in your case, the applicable guideline concerns the notability of movies.
Unfortunately, your article has not established that your movie is notable per the above guidelines, and so I tagged it as such. An administrator will be along shortly to review my tagging and, if they agree with it, they will delete the article.
If this happens, I urge you not to be discouraged. In the future, I suggest starting new articles in your sandbox and then moving them to the main namespace when you are reasonably certain they won't be deleted. Alternately, you can get involved in one of Wikipedia's numerous projects, such as Wikiproject Films, and contribute that way. If you have any questions, feel free to stop by the help desk or leave me a message on my talk page. Happy editing! --jonny-mt(t)(c)Tell me what you think! 07:03, 16 November 2007 (UTC)
