Your edit to Bobbio

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added to the page Bobbio do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. --Dirk Beetstra T C 11:47, 22 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

OK and for video and fhoto ? --Trebbia (talk) 11:54, 22 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Also strongly discouraged by our external links guideline. Video's are useless for people who have a slow internet connection, foto's can be uploaded to enrich the document, don't need to be linked to. And for all goes, they have to add something to the document (see intro of the guideline). Also, this edit turned the section into a linkfarm (see the 'what wikipedia is not' policy. I hope this explains. --Dirk Beetstra T C 12:15, 22 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Permission to use your photo

[edit]

Hi, I am currently laying out a book for a client of mine and we were wondering if you would allow us to use your photo 'St. Columbanus Window of the crypt of the Abbey of Bobbio'? Looking Forward to hearing from you, Catherine Lavoie. (You can also contact me on catherine@whatson.ie) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 109.76.87.118 (talk) 12:03, 17 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
