December 2023

Information icon Hello, I'm Remsense. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Zoroaster, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Remsense 16:52, 9 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did at Manifestation of God (Baháʼí Faith), without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use your sandbox for that. Thank you. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Armenia, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page No religion. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:12, 10 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Your additions to the Australia article

[edit]

Hello there

I reverted your recent addition of Sikhism to the info box and you reinstated it without seeking consensus on the Talk page. Please read policy on the bold, revert, discuss cycle: WP:BRD. If you make a bold edit and someone reverts it, you are obliged to start a discussion on the Talk page and seek consensus if you want the edit reinstated. If you don't do this, you could face sanctions. Also please read policy on the purpose of the info box: MOS:INFOBOX. The info box is meant to be a quick summary of the most important informationin the article. Of all the information in the article, I don't think a religion with less than 1% of the population is of such vital importance that it should be listed in the info box. You will see that I have summarised the information on religion in the info box so that only the 4 largest reponses are listed. Those seeking finer detail can go to the Religion section of the article or the linked article on Religion in Australia. That is what articles are for. I am happy to discuss further on the article's Talk page.

As for your addition of Indigenous languages, please read the article and you will see that there are various estimates of the number of Indgenous languages in Australia. It is misleading and against policy to pick one definition and highlight it in the info box. See policy on neutral point of view. WP:NPOV. Also, complex and contested issues are unsuitable for inclusion in the info box. MOS:INFOBOX Aemilius Adolphin (talk) 05:13, 14 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

You have again restored your edits, even though there I asked you to discuss your addition here and on the article Talk page. Please state your case on the Talk Page. Aemilius Adolphin (talk) 22:11, 14 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
You have again tried to impose your own version of the religion section on the info box, even though there is an ongoing discussion on this issue on the Talk page and even though I have invited you several times to contribute to this discussion rather than make unilateral changes to the info box. Please carefully read policy on disruptive editing. Please go to the talk page and try to seek consensus for your preferred version of the info box. If you continue to ignore policy on the Bold, revert, discuss cycle I will reluctantly have to report you for disruptive editing. Please be a cooperative member of this community. Blocked as a sockpuppet

[edit]
Wikipedia's technical logs indicate that this user account has been or may be used abusively as a sockpuppet of User:Araxes TheThief per the evidence presented at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Araxes TheThief. It has been blocked indefinitely from editing to prevent abuse.

Note that anything you post in your unblock request will be public, so you may alternatively use the Unblock Ticket Request System to submit an appeal if it contains information that must be private.
