Picture

[edit]

Hi, All the pictures you are adding contain what is effectively an advertizement for OnlineTradingConcepts.com. That is inappropriate and adds nothing to the information. If the pictures are edited to remove that they would be fine. Pleclech 11:47, 25 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Bollinger Bands

[edit]

Hi, You said: >I dislike the comment that my link contradicts what the article says. Your link does contradict what the article says.

>The article is obviously one sided in its opinion of how to use and interpret bollinger bands. Why not edit it to make it NPOV if it's one-sided? If there are reputable sources showing the validity of BB's then it's absolutely right to include them. For example, if James Altucher has done repeatable historical backtesting, then that's an appropriate addition. He doesn't show up in Google Scholar so his work may not stand up to peer review, but I'm not familiar with it and maybe it does.

Much of the Technical Analysis literature is highly dubious scientifically but I'm happy to be convinced that BB's are an exception. Pleclech 21:24, 27 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for Image:CCIwiki.gif

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:CCIwiki.gif. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 22:07, 2 May 2007 (UTC)

Bollinger Quote

[edit]

I suggest you delete it. I was going to see what justification was offered for it but it might as well go immediately for the reasons you mention. Pleclech 03:35, 27 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
