Welcome!
[edit]Hello, Tracethetrade, and welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, such as Ancesterology, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's content policies and may not be retained. In short, the topic of an article must be notable and have already been the subject of publication by reliable and independent sources.
Please review Your first article for an overview of the article creation process. The Article Wizard is available to help you create an article, where it will be reviewed and considered for publication. For information on how to request a new article that can be created by someone else, see Requested articles. If you are stuck, come to the Teahouse, where experienced Wikipedians can help you through the processes.

The article Ancesterology has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Delete as per WP:NOTESSAY, appears to be mostly WP:SYNTH, none of the accessible refs mention the term.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Onel5969 TT me 13:17, 24 March 2021 (UTC)

[edit]Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:
- Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment, or
- With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button located above the edit window.
This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.
Thank you. DoubleGrazing (talk) 06:20, 31 March 2021 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm Allninemice. I noticed that you recently removed content from Ancesterology without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. ~ANM🐁 T·C 18:49, 4 April 2021 (UTC)
- Tracethetrade, you shouldn't blank an article that is under discussion for deletion. Please see the guide to deletion, specifically this section.
... There are, however, a few restrictions upon how you may edit an article: You must not blank the article (unless it is a copyright infringement)...

Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Ancesterology, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use your sandbox for that. Sdrqaz (talk) 19:09, 4 April 2021 (UTC)
You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you remove or blank page content or templates from Wikipedia without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary, as you did at Ancesterology. Please do not blank / remove content, just because you are frustrated with the deletion process. Thank you. -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 09:13, 6 April 2021 (UTC)
