File copyright problem with File:NJB Merkava-1.JPG
[edit]Thank you for uploading File:NJB Merkava-1.JPG. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. ww2censor (talk) 05:52, 8 February 2010 (UTC)
Copyright problem removed: N. J. Burkett
[edit]Hello. I'm afraid that content you added to this article duplicated published sources. Much of the material seemed to have been copied from: http://abclocal.go.com/wabc/bio?section=resources/inside_station/newsteam&id=5771955. The article has been restored to an earlier version. Content from that source cannot be added unless it is duly released under a compatible license. (For more information, please see "using copyrighted works from others" if you are not the copyright holder of this material, or "donating copyrighted materials" if you are.) For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or published material; such additions will be deleted. Contributors may use copyrighted publications as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences or phrases. Accordingly, the material may be rewritten, but only if it does not infringe on the copyright of the original or plagiarize from that source. Please see our guideline on non-free text for how to properly implement limited quotations of copyrighted text. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously, and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. While we appreciate contributions, we must require all contributors to understand and comply with these policies. Thank you. Moonriddengirl (talk) 18:52, 1 January 2011 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, Tovmazel. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page N. J. Burkett, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for article subjects for more information. We ask that you:
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization, clients, or competitors;
- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{edit COI}} template)—don't forget to give details of reliable sources supporting your suggestions;
- disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest § How to disclose a COI);
- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam § External link spamming);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.
Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicizing, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. :Jay8g [V•T•E] 20:24, 25 October 2024 (UTC)
- Good morning—I am NJ Burkett, the subject of the page. I don’t know who took that photo but it’s a really bad picture and I removed it for that reason. I am not someone who edits Wikipedia pages, but I have made occasional updates to mine. Simply factual updates. I’d prefer to have the picture removed. I’ve tried to add one of my own, but I don’t know how to do it. Tovmazel (talk) 13:17, 1 November 2024 (UTC)
