Ways to improve Data Amulet[edit]

Hi, I'm Musa Raza. Visicomscientific, thanks for creating Data Amulet!

I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. No other pages link to this page and the page doesn't belong to any categories.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse. Musa Talk  20:15, 15 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Ping:Musa_Raza Hi Musa thank you for your help. Still feeling my way but I have tried to correct as best as I am able. I welcome your advice on how to improve further. Visicomscientific (talk) 12:08, 16 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, Visicomscientific. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article Data Amulet, you may have a conflict of interest. People with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, see the conflict of interest guideline and frequently asked questions for organizations. In particular, please:

  • avoid editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, its competitors, or projects and products you or they are involved with;
  • instead, propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • exercise great caution so that you do not violate Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use require disclosure of your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation.

Please familiarize yourself with relevant policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, sourcing, and autobiographies. Thank you. Melcous (talk) 22:09, 15 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at Data Amulet, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Melcous (talk) 08:54, 16 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Melcous Thank you for your help which is much appreciated, I am still trying to find my way around the editing process. There are so many guidelines to understand. I feel the page is almost complete, I do not understand however what aspect of the article is conflicting?
Welcome to Wikipedia. Because we have a policy against usernames which give the impression that the account represents a group, organization or website, I have blocked this account; please take a moment to create a new account with a username that represents only yourself as an individual and which complies with our username policy.

You should also read our conflict of interest guideline and be aware that promotional editing is not acceptable regardless of the username you choose.

If your username does not represent a group, organization or website, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} below this notice.

You may simply create a new account, but you may prefer to change your username to one that complies with our username policy, so that your past contributions are associated with your new username. If you would prefer to change your username, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock-un|new username|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} below this notice. Thank you. Proposed deletion of Data Amulet[edit]

The article Data Amulet has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Artwork sourced only to papers written by the artist. Fails WP:GNG.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article. McGeddon (talk) 17:27, 24 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
