Question about your Gladiator edit

[edit]

How do you know that the dagger was poisonous? I do not recall that this was indicated at all in the original film. Was it in the extended version? Or, is this your assumption? It was always my understanding that Commodus stabbed Maximus to slowly bleed him and thus slowly drain him of energy during the fight. One would think that he could have poisoned him more conveniently in his food or water. Anyway, as I am a big fan of this movie, I would appreciate being corrected if I am wrong. You know what? You may be right. Revert the change. That was always my assumption. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Tomwchow (talkcontribs) 21:33, 6 December 2006 (UTC).[reply]
No problem... I reverted it, only because it is merely unconfirmed... It never occurred to me that it might be a poisoned dagger, though... Katalaveno 23:34, 6 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
