Welcome!

Hello, Tomozaurus, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Again, welcome!

It's good to see that you have such a healthy interest in the "Create New Article" link. Nonetheless, your creation of nonsense and vanity articles is starting to get boring. Please don't take this in a bad way, but we would like to see more positive contributions, and less useless clutter. - CorbinSimpson 07:30, 21 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Flyleaf

[edit]

Hello. Maybe you are not understanding the importance of citing sources for information that you add or change. You are taking information, which has a reference, and changing it to something which does not. Please do not do that. If you would like to change something, like the genre, find a verifiable source which backs up the change. Please do not engage in edit warring just because you have a strong opinion on the subject. --Chuck Sirloin 15:16, 17 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Notability of The Reckless (band)

[edit]

A tag has been placed on The Reckless (band) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Kyle1278 (talk) 03:18, 12 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
