Update the source(s) 2nd Annual Interactive Achievement Awards.
[edit]I have decided to take your word and will accept that Zelda: Ocarina of Time had won the Outstanding Achievement in Software Engineering. However, I would like to update the sources so that it reflects that fact. The archived listing from 2002, would work best, in my opinion. Also update articles for the nominees for Motocross Madness and NFL Quarterback Club 99 to reflect this fact. I also would like to say that appreciate for updating other games with links for the D.I.C.E. Award articles. I am hoping that two of us can work together going forward. MR.RockGamer17 (talk) 15:56, 27 June 2023 (UTC)
- I agree. Yes, it's weird that there is conflicting information especially from archived websites closer to actual award ceremony, but going off of present documentations for 2002 and onwards, unless otherwise confirmed by AIAS themselves, it'd be best to just stick with Zelda. And yes, I'm open for collaboration to ensure that the Wikipage is as accurate and high-quality writing as possible. Tommybone32 (talk) 18:29, 27 June 2023 (UTC)
November 2023
[edit]Hello, I'm Doniago. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, John Debney, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. DonIago (talk) 13:57, 9 November 2023 (UTC)

Categories for D.I.C.E. Award winners
[edit]Hey @Tommybone32, I just submitted a deletion review for with the goal of undeleting the categories for D.I.C.E. Award winners. I was hoping you take part in that discussion. The argument I making is that there categories for winners of the Golden Joystick Awards, Game Developers Choice Awards, and the British Academy Game Awards. I really appreciate all of your support for the D.I.C.E. Award pages. MR.RockGamer17 (talk) 17:31, 29 November 2023 (UTC)
- Sure, how can I help with that? What is being referred to with the deletion review? Tommybone32 (talk) 17:55, 29 November 2023 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for February 1
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited D.I.C.E. Award for Mobile Game of the Year, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Sandlot. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, --DPL bot (talk) 05:57, 1 February 2024 (UTC)
Pictures
[edit]Hey, @Tommybone32, I was thinking about adding pictures for each of the award ceremony pages. Pictures of the people receiving the award(s), especially for the special awards. The archived websites should have photo galleries of the past ceremonies. MR.RockGamer17 (talk) 19:49, 26 March 2024 (UTC)
- I'm down with that, it would really "spice up" the Wiki pages. I do know that the picture has to be "original", or not copyrighted (however that's supposed to be enforced) so that's something to keep in mind. When I tried to add the 17th Annual DICE Awards poster (the year "The Last of Us" won 10 awards), it kept getting flagged and removed. Tommybone32 (talk) 19:54, 26 March 2024 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for March 27
[edit]An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Alan Wake 2, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page James McCaffrey.

Nice work keeping articles updated on the recent game awards! ObserveOwl (chit-chat • my doings) 18:03, 12 April 2024 (UTC) |
- Thanks! I really enjoy the awards seasons, so I want to ensure that all games got their proper due (with noms and wins). Tommybone32 (talk) 18:12, 12 April 2024 (UTC)
Distributors
[edit]Please don't insert distributors in the publisher field. We used to have a distributor field and it was deliberately removed per consensus that such information was usually unsourced and irrelevant. -- ferret (talk) 15:31, 13 April 2024 (UTC)
