Hey, I just wanted to say thank you for joining Wikipedia, and for edits like those you made to AlterNet. To answer your first question: a talk page is just a wiki page that we put discussions on. It usually has some special formatting, and new stuff goes at the bottom, but other than that it's not a big deal. If you have any questions, you ask me. Thanks again!

It seems to me that your edit is still in the article? Steven Walling • talk 04:24, 5 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, Steve, can we talk about this. One the one hand: As a newbie, I'd like to get with Wikipedia guidelines. On the other hand, For me, I left it in. I do believe Alternet has a relevance beyond simply liberals & progressives, just as I believe the latter can benefit by watching Fox News. Perhaps this is argumentative. Set me straight re guidelines, Steve. Thanks. TommyPaine2012 (talk) 02:51, 6 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
