Hi - since you were the last one to edit the Chain Of Rocks bridge page, I thought I would point out some errors that could be corrected. First, the bend is 24-degrees, not 22-degress as widely reported. Once can pull up any ariel photo and measure it with a protractor. Second, the bridge was open until Feb 1970, well after I-270 opened. Third, it carried US-66 name from 1936 to 1955, and Bypass US-66 from 1955 to 1965. -john- john@johnweeks.com
