Unreferenced BLPs[edit]

Hello Todd93! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 876 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:

  1. Todd Humphrey - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL

Thanks!--DASHBot (talk) 07:57, 17 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The article Todd Humphrey has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Fails WP:GNG.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Nikki311 03:52, 2 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Shane Somers[edit]

Anything added to Wikipedia needs to be verifiable from a reliable source. It's the responsibility of the person adding it to provide the source. For articles about living people, that is so important that they are automatically deleted after ten days if no source is provided, and that's what happened here.

Normally, I would undelete the article and reset the ten-day clock but, as it has been deleted in the past after a deletion discussion at WP:Articles for deletion/Shane Somers (which you should read), I have instead "userfied" it for you - moved it into a sub-page at User:Todd93/Shane Somers where you can work on it and add references. Before returning it to the main encyclopedia, you should check with the deleting administrator, user Ron Ritzman (talk) for permission. He may agree but ask for it to have a new deletion discussion; if he does not agree, you can appeal at WP:Deletion review.

I don't know what is the WP:Notability standard for professional wrestlers, i.e. what they need to have achieved to qualify for an article. You may be able to get advice about that if you post on the talk page of Wikipedia:WikiProject Professional wrestling. JohnCD (talk) 22:06, 17 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
