The Mandalorian

[edit]

Nice work on the first draft of plot section of The Mandalorian Chapter 12.

Please note that MOS:TVPLOT recommends plot sections be 200-400 words. These severe wordcount restrictions make things difficult and I have shortened the Plot section as best I can. If there are any details that you think are important that I may have trimmed then please discuss on the article talk page and we can try and include them while keeping within the wordcount requirements. Wordcount means verbose phrases like "In the final scene" must be avoided, and instead we must immediately and directly say what we see.

Some editors interpret the guidelines about which words to use in link text extremely seriously, so beware of WP:EGG. It is better to keep the Plot section strictly about plot, and also because of the wordcount, and WP:EGG, it can be very useful to use Footnotes to include extra information (see Template:Efn, and Template:Notelist).

Also (for reasons not entirely clear to me, but I suppose it is better) other editors have decided that we have to write "The Mandalorian" every time, not "Mando". Another convention followed by Mandalorian episode articles (and most tv articles I think) is to not include Cast names in the plot summary,[1] they will usually be covered elsewhere in the article (Production/Casting).

Please feel free to comment on the article talk page.
