Add in Ephebophilia page needed
[edit]In the section about "Etymology and definitions" at the end, where it's said "Although ephebophilia is not a psychiatric diagnosis, the term pedophilia is commonly used by the general public and the media to refer to any sexual interest in minors below the local age of consent, regardless of their level of physical or mental development", should be added also that is also used by general public to refer to any person under the age of majority, not only the age of consent. So, "Although ephebophilia is not a psychiatric diagnosis, the term pedophilia is commonly used by the general public and the media to refer to any sexual interest in minors below the local age of consent and even the local age of majority, regardless of their level of physical or mental development." 151.34.253.1 (talk) 16:22, 13 June 2022 (UTC)
Should also be corrected still in "Etymology and definitions" that "the term pedophilia is TODAY commonly used by the WESTERN general public and media...". — Preceding unsigned comment added by 151.34.133.101 (talk) 16:05, 17 July 2022 (UTC)
- There is a catch, it is worth remembering that there are more than 30 languages spoken spoken in Europe alone and by extension the Western world. In the talk page for pedophilia, another user claimed that the Dutch language has a distinction between love of children and sexual interest in them with separate terms although there is no such distiction in common use in English. I do not have access to information on the common parlance in other languages of the Western world but considering this is the English language Wikipedia, I would suggest focusing on the English-speaking world in this article. Not needed non-neutral language
[edit]To the article Coal Black and de Sebben Dwarfs has now been added an inappropriate and non-neutral "racist" in the introduction: "Coal Black and de Sebben Dwarfs is a 1943 racist Merrie Melodies animated cartoon directed by Bob Clampett." Could you do something about it and remove said word, please? Also, the phrase "animated cartoon" doesn't make sense, it would make sense "animated short" instead. Could you do something about it too? 151.38.224.242 (talk) 00:04, 23 August 2022 (UTC)
