Edit to Epicurus

[edit]

Hi - thanks for your contribution to Epicurus. Just to let you know, both possessive forms are acceptable on Wikipedia:

1. Epicurus' 2. Epicurus's

The latter is technically more correct, but many people use the former, which is why it's also acceptable. I've left your edit alone, since it's acceptable  :)

You can read more at Wikipedia:Manual_of_Style#Usage

No prob - you probably know more about the posessives with ancient names than I do. I guess either way is fine with Wikipedia, but if it's usually done that way with ancient names then go for it. It's no biggie, I just have too much free time on my hands  :). Anyhow hope you enjoy editing! I find that editing articles is a great way to learn about all sorts of things. --FranksValli 06:02, 8 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]
