Speedy deletion of Bart's Books

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Bart's Books requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company or corporation, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for companies and corporations.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Your addition to Must Love Cats has been removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material to Wikipedia without permission from the copyright holder. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other websites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites or publications as a source of information, but not as a source of article content such as sentences or images. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. Hairhorn (talk) 17:24, 21 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

My Episode Guide keeps getting deleted from this television series! An Episode Guide is useful and helpful to everyone! That's the whole purpose of Wikipedia - reference!

An Episode Guide needs to be created, as every other television series on Wikipedia also has an episode guide. If the list of episodes for this TV series are "copyrighted words" why are there Episode Guides to all the other TV series? Shouldn't they all be deleted? Then Wikipedia would become useless as a reference source with nothing but links to copyrighted pages hosted elsewhere, rather than unbiased sources of information.

If you want to write an episode guide, then please feel free to write one. Copying text from another page is a clear violation of copyright. Cheers. Hairhorn (talk) 17:49, 28 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article Sci Fi Science: Physics of the Impossible has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Does not appear notable, nothing was found in a BEFORE. Tagged for notability since 2021

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
