how to ask questions

[edit]

Please refrain from asking questions in random places as you did here. All questions have a proper place to be asked, but comments placed on a page where they don't belong are distracting and confusing, and unlikely to be answered.

Wikipedia has a number of resources for questions, which can be navigated from Wikipedia:Questions. If you cannot find the proper forum -- such as the Village Pump, Help Desk, or an appropriate talk page -- for your question there, you can post it right to your talk page using the template {{helpme}}.

In answer to your question, you can use the html <font> tag to add color.

but how do i add color to my text?Timbermile99 (talk) 20:53, 12 January 2008 (UTC)
Generally by using html. Either
<font color="''COLOR''">
or
<span style="color:''COLOR''">
You'll need to know the hex code or html name of the color you want to include. For more information, you can see WP:COLOUR.
Let me know if you need further help. - Revolving Bugbear 20:57, 12 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You have been accused of sockpuppetry. Please refer to Wikipedia:Suspected sock puppets/Rothchild for evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with notes for the suspect before editing the evidence page. Skylights76 (talk) 07:14, 13 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Do not place personal attacks on pages, as you did with User_talk:Skylights76. This is a clear violation of wikipedia policy. Snowfire51 (talk) 07:54, 13 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

  • Nobody posted lies about you and it was nobody's intention to harass you. And yes, the edits you have made at tin foil hat were inappropriate. Conspiracy theory and paranoia are already linked in the article lead; specific examples of conspiracy theories have no place in the article, because it is an article about tin foil hats, not about conspiracy theories.

    Having reviewed the material you have added into your talk page and in the face of your flat denial that you have done anything wrong, I fully agree with the indefinite block. Should you make a sincere apology, then there'll be something to talk about. - Mike Rosoft (talk) 09:23, 12 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
