Hi!

[edit]

Hey, Tickkid! Since you seem new (that's how it looks by this page, anyway), I figured I'd give you a few tips. I saw your warning message to User talk:67.46.32.230; first, make sure that when you use a warning template (or any other template on a talk page) that you "substitute" it. For instance, instead of putting {{test3}}, you should put {{subst:test3}}. It puts less load on the server when you substitute templates (although some shouldn't be substituted). Second, vandals should be warned four times before being blocked (see Newpage Patrol). You had skipped a warning by jumping from test1 to test3.

Hope this all makes sense; if it doesn't, just let me know, and I'll try to explain it better. Keep up the good work! -- P.B. Pilhet / Talk 21:00, 30 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It's no problem at all. Even the most experienced editors make mistakes, and since you're a "newb," it's completely understandable. If you're really serious about Wikipedia, you might try the Adopt-a-User program; I've never done it, but I hear it's supposed to be really good. Here's a few links that you might find helpful:
