[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, but at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Mary Bond Davis, did not appear to be constructive and has been automatically reverted by ClueBot.
- Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Note that human editors do monitor recent changes to Wikipedia articles, and administrators have the ability to block users from editing if they repeatedly engage in vandalism.
- Cluebot produces very few false positives, but it does happen. If you believe the change you made should not have been detected as unconstructive, please report it here, remove this warning from your talk page, and then make the edit again.
- The following is the log entry regarding this warning: Mary Bond Davis was changed by This1ismbd (u) (t) blanking the page on 2009-12-10T15:21:20+00:00 . Thank you. ClueBot (talk) 15:21, 10 December 2009 (UTC)
The recent edit you made to Mary Bond Davis has been reverted, as it removed all content from the page without explanation. Please do not do this, as it is considered vandalism; use the sandbox for testing. If you think the page should be deleted, see this page for instructions. Thank you. - Look at the edit summary I left you; I think I understand what you are trying to do but I am guessing. It is best to communicate with editors rather than just undo things. Happy editing, Drmies (talk) 16:04, 10 December 2009 (UTC)
You should wait for others to write an article about subjects in which you are personally involved, as you did at Mary Bond Davis. This applies to articles about you, your achievements, your band, your business, your publications, your website, your relatives, and any other possible conflict of interest.
Creating an article about yourself is strongly discouraged. If you create such an article, it might be listed on articles for deletion. Deletion is not certain, but many feel strongly that you should not start articles about yourself. This is because independent creation encourages independent validation of both significance and verifiability. All edits to articles must conform to Wikipedia:No original research, Wikipedia:Neutral point of view, and Wikipedia:Verifiability.
If you are not "notable" under Wikipedia guidelines, creating an article about yourself may violate the policy that Wikipedia is not a personal webspace provider and would thus qualify for speedy deletion. If your achievements, etc., are verifiable and genuinely notable, and thus suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later. (See Wikipedia:Wikipedians with articles.) Thank you. WuhWuzDat 15:56, 11 December 2009 (UTC)
Please do not delete content from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to The SOS Band, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Please make use of the sandbox if you'd like to experiment with test edits. Thank you. I am aware that this is not a personal web page, I have my own web site for that. Years ago I was encouraged by a high school friend who works at Wikipedia to include my bio. I would prefer that my name not be similar to others. I would also prefer not to write my own bio.
I have peers and colleagues who have entries. Due you really mean notoriety instead of the word notability? It's all relative these days.
