Just to let you know, Title hero's reverting of information was in no way vandalism. See WP:VANDALISM. The information he removed was in no way supported by the references attached to it. It is a content dispute and as such you should work it out on the talk page, not insinuate Title hero is doing something wrong. Gtwfan52 (talk) 15:18, 14 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Warning for Kamal Haasan

[edit]

Your recent editing history shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.

To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. See BRD for how this is done. You can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Please use the talkpage for further edits! This warning is also issued to your opponent editor(s)-- Dravidian  Hero  22:33, 24 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Kamal Haasan‎. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Please be particularly aware, Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made; that is to say, editors are not automatically "entitled" to three reverts.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing.

If you suspect sock-puppetry, you can furnish evidences at [1] JK (talk) 07:42, 9 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 3 days for persistent edit warring. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.

Request reason:

I typically don't revert or undo someone else's changes. I do edit if any information is (un)sourced or contains bad grammar etc. I did this particular revert because based on the edit I and the history I've on this page, I could tell the user is a sock puppet and has been responsible for creating edit wars on Kamal Haasan page over the last 4-5 months. This has been seventh or eight time that the sock puppet posing under different/new user id's is disrupting the Kamal Haasan page. It's very apparent that the sock puppet's intent is to singlehandedly corrupt and remove contents of this page. As you could see from edit history, I've been one among the several other active contributors of Kamal Haasan page. Please consider unblocking my account. Thanks! Decline reason:

Just because you believe the editor is a sock, it does not give you any authority to edit-war. We have WP:DR processes for a reason. As of this point, I see no recognition that edit-warring was incorrect, or have I been convinced that you will not do it ever again. As such, this is not WP:GAB-compliant (✉→BWilkins←✎) 09:26, 3 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
