I would like to change my user name and remove this block as I failed to review the requirements of writing on wikipedia. I was trying to correct one of our pages, previously written by a former employee, however the mistake was made on my part to change it without reviewing the guidelines. I would love to be able to contribute again to Wikipedia. To be able to correct my own companies misinformation, and contribute to others. Please take this into consideration. It is so important to us to have the correct information out there and I am sorry for the mistakes made on behalf or trying to correct a Wiki page.I have read the guidelines and now understand the rules and guidelines to be followed in the future.

Here are a few key questions:

You are currently blocked because your username appears directly related to a company, group or product that you have been promoting, contrary to the username policy.   • I find it difficult to reconcile your description of what you were doing as "trying to correct one of our pages" with the nature of your editing, which both added unambiguous advertising hype to an existing article and also created a new, totally promotional, article. I am far from persuaded that you have satisfied the requirement to "Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the edits for which you were blocked." You really do need to address that issue if you are to stand a reasonable chance of being unblocked. In addition, what "misinformation" about your company do you wish to correct? And when you answer, please bare in mind that "misinformation" does not mean "anything that does not show your company in as favourable a light as you would like".
