Repeated insertion of attorney's name

[edit]

Your repeated insertion of the name of an attorney into articles related to Fetty Wap gives the feel that you are just trying to promote the attorney. Can you give a valid, policy-based reason for all the name-dropping? —C.Fred (talk) 18:31, 2 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

@Cfred: Hello - thanks for reaching out to me. I am adding this information to the artist(s) pages in order to protect the artist from legal ramifications that can arise when legal representation and credits are not properly noted. All the information is factual and verifiable (proof can be provided if necessary). --Thesocialsocietyus (talk) 16:51, 3 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

There are no legal ramifications of not mentioning an artist's legal counsel in a Wikipedia article about some of the artist's work. Please do not re-add these. MPS1992 (talk) 17:09, 3 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
  • Yeah, this makes no sense; we're dealing with here is a promotional account. I am also deleting Draft:Navarro W. Gray, which Jimfbleak had removed before. The kinds of claims to fame made in there are in fact potential BLP violations, given that we have no way of ascertaining that the subject is himself on the up and up, and associating this subject with known persons from the music industry may carry within it and without it serious risks of misrepresentation, malrepresentation, or overrepresentation. Orangemike, I see you blocked the user for their name; that's good, and thanks, but there's more to it than that: we have an editor who is here to promote themselves. Thank you, Drmies (talk) 20:30, 4 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Because we have a policy against usernames which give the impression that the account represents a group, organization or website, I have blocked this account; please take a moment to create a new account with a username that represents only yourself as an individual and which complies with our username policy or request a change of username.

You should also read our conflict of interest guideline and be aware that promotional editing is not acceptable regardless of the username you choose.

If your username does not represent a group, organization or website, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of your talk page.

You may simply create a new account, but you may prefer to change your username to one that complies with our username policy, so that your past contributions are associated with your new username. If you would prefer to change your username, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock-un|new username|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of your talk page. Thank you.
