Question

[edit]

I don't understand what you asked on my talk page. Could you rephrase it? Thanks! Namethatisnotinuse (talk) 01:19, 27 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

The air date on bob the builder it doesn't match what the episode list says Theshavia29912 (talk) 01:54, 27 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I'm sorry, I don't pay attention to airdates. I just made an edit on that page (you probably saw me in the edit log) that I felt should have been made a long time ago. Also, who are you edit warring with so I can report them? Namethatisnotinuse (talk) 19:25, 12 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be repeatedly reverting or undoing other editors' contributions at As Told by Ginger. Although this may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is known as "edit warring" and is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, as it often creates animosity between editors. Instead of reverting, please discuss the situation with the editor(s) involved and try to reach a consensus on the talk page.

If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to lose their editing privileges on that page. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, and violating the three-revert rule is very likely to result in loss of your editing privileges. Thank you. FilmandTVFan28 (talk) 01:28, 28 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Help Theshavia29912 (talk) 02:58, 28 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Acroterion (talk) 03:16, 28 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I'm trying to stop and listen to music but I can't leave cause he keeps on reverting my edit and it's not just as told by ginger he's bombing my every edits on every page well I think the user is a female baisd on the users name Theshavia29912 (talk) 03:19, 28 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Stop. Now. You've long since passed the bright-line blocking limits. Acroterion (talk) 03:20, 28 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing from certain pages (As Told by Ginger) for a period of 1 week for edit warring. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Acroterion (talk) 03:32, 28 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, Theshavia29912, you'll likely not be pleased about this but I have suppressed a number of edits to your userspace which reveal too much personally identifiable information about yourself. I've done this per policy and for your own protection and safety on-line as you are a self-declared minor. I'm really sorry about that and I know it's annoying, but it's for the best. Please don't re-add it. For some useful information on privacy and safety, take a look at Wikipedia:Guidance for younger editors. Thanks, and sorry for messing about with your pages. -- Salvio 09:59, 28 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Your recent talk page comments on Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents were not added to the bottom of the page. New discussion page messages and topics should always be added to the bottom. Your message may have been moved. In the future you can use the "Add topic" link in the top right. For more details see the talk page guidelines. The not says "NEW ENTRIES GO AT THE BOTTOM OF THE PAGE NOT HERE". -- Emir of Wikipedia (talk) 15:14, 28 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

You are in some danger of being blocked on a broader scale if you don't stop and listen to other editors. Another administrator has already removed personal information from your userpage that really shouldn't be there - if you haven't learned by now, please do not post personal details about yourself like that, at least until you're old enough to understand what you're doing.
