Verifying this article seems to be difficult. For example, Google doesn't even find anything about the WPAF Band of Flight. Do you happen to know the musical's name?

Personally, I wouldn't consider either your email correspondence with Ms. Giroux or an uploaded version of this song as a reliable source.
