New Zealand Touring Car Championship

[edit]

Why do you believe the NZTCC was a Super Touring series? --Falcadore (talk) 12:20, 2 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited 1994 French Supertouring Championship season, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Gérard Tremblay. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

WTCC compensation weight

[edit]

Hello, thank you to have transformed my text about the 2014 WTCC compensation weight into a table. I have no tool and tables are difficult to build. I think that for the two first races, the compensations weight were 60kg for all the cars. Would you like to add 2 columns for this ? Do you want me to add this ? Have a nice day. 83.157.24.224 (talk) 13:29, 8 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

TCR International series reports

[edit]

Hello there, I've noticed your created Report pages on the 2015 TCR International Series season races. I like that you want to contribute, but there is one thing I've noticed and want to talk about - the "races" in those pages are actually rounds (i.e. 1st round, 2nd round etc.) with 2 separate races per round. To avoid confusion I suggest you to change this typo on the pages from race to round.

Hopefully you will take this advice. Ivaneurope (talk) 21:23, 19 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Oh sorry, I didn't understand the message, I just wrote "race" to prevent a repetition. "Round" is also correct.

This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. 2015 TCR International Series season

[edit]

I'm curious, you've put the most work into this article so I feel as though I should ask you. Were you planning to write anything in the articles to explain what the series is, how it is important and how the championship was won and lost, or are you happy to just tabulate everything and hope that anyone who reads it speaks fluent Statistic instead of English? --Falcadore (talk) 01:30, 5 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Why not? I'm Italian, so maybe I don't know English very well, but I could write something about the races. Would be better to write about them in the races' page rather than in the series' page, let's see... --Therabbit95 (talk) 09:56, 5 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Control copyright icon Hello Therabbit95, and welcome to Wikipedia. All or some of your addition(s) to 2016 TCR International Series has had to be removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material without permission from the copyright holder. While we appreciate your contributing to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from your sources to avoid copyright or plagiarism issues here.

  • You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and cite the source using an inline citation. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
  • Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. (There is a college-level introduction to paraphrase, with examples, hosted by the Online Writing Lab of Purdue.) Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
  • Our primary policy on using copyrighted content is Wikipedia:Copyrights. You may also want to review Wikipedia:Copy-paste.
  • If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. However, there are steps that must be taken to verify that license before you do. See Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
  • In very rare cases (that is, for sources that are public domain or compatibly licensed), it may be possible to include greater portions of a source text. However, please seek help at the help desk before adding such content to the article. 99.9% of sources may not be added in this way, so it is necessary to seek confirmation first. If you do confirm that a source is public domain or compatibly licensed, you will still need to provide full attribution; see Wikipedia:Plagiarism for the steps you need to follow.
  • Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Wikipedia project or article, you can, but please follow the steps in Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia.

It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. — Diannaa (talk) 20:57, 9 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

TCR Russian Series

[edit]

Please provide at least ONE (!) source that series under this name even exist. As it stated in the Russian Circuit Racing Series official site, it's just one of the standings in the series. See also 2016 Italian Touring Car Championship. Corvus tristis (talk) 16:34, 9 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

http://i.imgur.com/Fg2Jc1Z.png I repeat, RCRS is the set of championships as in Italy there is the "ACI Racing Weekend". Surely, RCRS is not the name of the single championship. Therabbit95 (talk) 19:26, 9 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Lap records

[edit]

Are you aware that only laps set during a race count towards lap records? Qualifying laps have never counted towards lap records, they get their own statistic, the qualifying lap record which is always considered to be unofficial. --Falcadore (talk) 16:15, 20 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
