I have added a "{{prod}}" template to the article Where's Who, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, or, if you disagree with the notice, discuss the issues at its talk page. Removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, but the article may still be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached, or if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria. Copyright problems with Cumbria train.jpg[edit]

An image that you uploaded, Image:Cumbria trian.jpg, has been listed at Wikipedia:Copyright problems because it is a suspected copyright violation. Please look there if you know that the image is legally usable on Wikipedia (you may have to search for the title of the image to find its entry), and then provide the necessary information there and on its page, if you are interested in it not being deleted. Thank you. Sam Blacketer 11:05, 26 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Image copyright problem with Image:ServiceAExeter2.jpg[edit]

Thank you for uploading Image:ServiceAExeter2.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation.

Am tagging the images as they can't be presumed free unless it is stated by the authour. Though if you live in Exeter it might be an idea to go out with a camera and grab a few pictures, might try and take one myself when I get the chance 81.168.94.80 20:24, 28 February 2007 (UTC) ---- Above written by me, forgot to login --Enotayokel 20:26, 28 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

RE: Emmerdale - Who Killed Tom King?[edit]

Hi, and thanks for your suport in making the new pageon Who Killed Tom King. I reccomended to user:Jennyplus (one of the main cointributer)that it be split into another section, to which she refused, i went ahead and done it, only to be reverted. So thanks for that, a great help Thenthornthing 11:33, 11 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

No problem, I really wanted more information on the murder thats why I wrote it up, but you were right it was too long and needed it's own page. Jameshdl 13:18, 11 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

RE: Your edits to Red Nose Day 2007[edit]

Hi, You may or may not be aware but you reverted back several edits by myself and other people so I've had to revert it back. You've shown disagreement only with the section headers however other edits were made since then, including tidying of the article to simplfy its readability, factual additions about the show and fixes to incorrect links to disambiguation. If you disagree with the titles I've used please discuss it on the discussion page (They are however encyclopedic as the terms were used during the show by the presenters) but please don't remove large amounts of other peoples work without discussing it first. Thanks. ~~ Peteb16 19:35, 17 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, the reason, which i stated at the time was that the "funny" and "money" terms are unencyclapedicable, it was a decent format. As for the deletion of info; i put in my reverted edit, most of the newer infomation, and as far as i can see, i put back all of the text. So where you have got that from , i don't know ! This is a comparison between your changes at 14:51 and 18:40, 14 of the 16 intermediate revisions that aren't shown (which means they were undone) are mine. There's little difference in the two revisions meaning very little of my revisions were saved. Your changes also retitled Bob Geldof (he isn't a sir as he's not British) and put Ricky Gervais back as making an appeal video which he didn't do (seriously anyway). I'm sorry, but I don't see any point where you put back any of the information you removed. I think we should leave this to rest now, however. There's no point in arguing about it if we're both happy with the article as it stands now. ~~ Peteb16 23:51, 17 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for making a report on Wikipedia:Administrator intervention against vandalism. Reporting and removing vandalism is vital to the functioning of Wikipedia and all users are encouraged to revert, warn, and report vandalism. However, administrators are generally only able to block users if they have received a recent final warning (one that mentions that the user may be blocked) and they have recently vandalized after that warning was given. The reported user has not yet been blocked because it appears this has not occurred yet. If this user continues to vandalize even after their final warning, please report them to the AIV noticeboard again. 86.134.9.236 TigerShark 19:16, 8 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

RE: Your edits to Deal Or No Deal (UK Game Show)[edit]

Why have you removed the link?

  • Hi , firstly, can you remember to sign your comments using four tildes. Secondly,I removed the link (i'm not 100% sure which one you're on about, because so little infomation has been submitted) because wiki's guidelines only state that external links have to be connected in several ways, the link stated was just a pdf document which had no relevance to the article entirely, instead just statistics which had already been posted on other websites which were added before yours. Thenthornthing 16:56, 9 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
    • 1. i'm not a registered user, and i have a dynamic IP, but if you want me to use 4 tildes then fine
    • 2. the link was to the article you mention (i'll put it back and give you time to reconsider)
    • 3. the link was entirely relevant, being to an article about statistics, history and strategy as well as some general discussion of risk management
    • 4. the statistics have not been posted on any other websites - that article is the only instance of the bell-curve observation and as such is a useful addition to the article - please show other instances of the normal distribution of winnings if not

Your RFA[edit]

1[edit]

I strongly recommend you to withdraw your RFA per WP:SNOW. The oppose votes have made it clear: lack of experience and misunderstanding of the philosophy.

ps: someone withdrew it already while I was typing this. AQu01rius (User • Talk) 18:12, 9 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

2[edit]

Hi! I have closed your RFA as per WP:SNOW wrt inexperience. concerns raised. =Nichalp «Talk»= 18:13, 9 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Canvassing for comments about your userpage[edit]

Please familiarise yourself with the relevant policy WP:CANVASS and please stop asking people to comment on your userpage leaving messages such as [1] on other users talkpages. I have also removed the poll, Wikipedia userspace exists to help users write an encyclopedia, we're not a social networking site. Best Wishes. -- Nick t 22:16, 9 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Your Canvassing[edit]

Hi! Sorry we had to meet like this, but your canvassing for opinions on your user page is disruptive and in violation of WP:CANVASS. Please erase all of the messages you left for your poll or else I will have to contact an admin to deal with this situation. Thanks! Greeves (talk contribs) 22:15, 9 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

NOTE: All reverted, and sorry for any problems Thenthornthing 22:32, 9 April 2007 (UTC) [reply]

Deal or No Deal edit?[edit]

Why did you undo my edit [2]. I removed clear vandalism and you reverted it back into the article. Gwernol 11:21, 10 April 2007 (UTC) [reply]

Diamond Geezer 2[edit]

Apologies for my ignorance when edited the Diamond Geezer article, I naturally assumed that if there was a 'Diamond Geezer 2' article there would be a link to it from the original page, which of course there is now. Thanks for making that clear to me. Renegade MUFC 15:12, 11 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
