Aceromath

[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Aceromath, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you agree with the deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please add {{db-author}} to the top of Aceromath. Cenarium (talk) 01:38, 10 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

An article that you have been involved in editing, Aceromath, has been listed for deletion. If you are interested in the deletion discussion, please participate by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Aceromath. Thank you.

We really do not care for articles written by people about themselves - that's what Who's Who exists for; we are not an advertising service. Please read WP:VANITY, WP:SPAM, and WP:Notability. If you care to contribute on matters of general interest, that would be most welcome. Septentrionalis PMAnderson 18:45, 11 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Also, please note that while you as an individual are welcome and encouraged to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, you cannot contribute as a company, group, corporation, etc. or as a representative thereof. Your username seems to indicate that you are (or reprsent) The Net Centinell, and according to our username policy, that alone is grounds for this account to be blocked. Also, as this username connects you to the article you have chosen to create and edit, you are in a clear conflict of interest, and should not be writing such articles. We would love to have your contributions to other parts of Wikipedia, but I hope you understand that we require an objective/neutral point of view (as well as things like sources and notability) to write an article. --Cheeser1 (talk) 19:07, 11 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

AfD nomination of Aceromath

[edit]

An editor has nominated Aceromath, an article on which you have worked or that you created, for deletion. userpage notice

[edit]

Please don't remove {{userpage}} again. There are alternatives to it, but the reason for it is so this page won't look like a Wikipedia article on yourself, which we strongly discourage. We are not Who's who, and would prefer not to becoem them.

It's not a stigma; I have one myself. Septentrionalis PMAnderson 17:26, 17 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of Image:Isoba.jpg

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Image:Isoba.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section I9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted images or text borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on [[ Talk:Image:Isoba.jpg|the talk page]] explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. there is a short version of my page does it complain with wikipedia? well delete if not THE NET CENTINELL 18:11, 17 April 2008 (UTC)thenetcentinell

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Human mutilation, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.crowdedskies.com/human_mutilations.htm. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. Speedy deletion of Human mutilation

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Human mutilation requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must include on the external site the statement "I, (name), am the author of this article, (article name), and I release its content under the terms of the GNU Free Documentation License, Version 1.2 and later." You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. justinfr (talk/contribs) 02:21, 19 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

File permission problem with File:CEFORA logo.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:CEFORA logo.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.

If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Moonriddengirl (talk) 21:58, 14 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
