Every Nation

[edit]

The text you removed from the Every Nation page has been verified by the sites you chose to cut out from the page. Your repeated removals of this information border on vandalism. Additionally, your edits to the doctrine section come directly from Every Nation's Web site, and are therefore a copyright violation. Continued edits in this manner may result in you being blocked from editing Wikipedia. Blueboy96 01:05, 12 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The Every Nation page was originally created in November of 2005. Since then, it has been changed in its entirety to reflect the biased, prejudiced views of an individual who has documented negative POV comments regarding Every Nation on his Wikipedia User Profile, as follows, http://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/User:Blueboy96. . . . “Am currently working on several congressional district pages that reflect the fact that several districts have changed numbers without changing boundaries. I was suckered into joining a campus ministry affiliated with the Every Nation cult--read more about it here.”

I have made many efforts to replace the biased statements from the page with factual information which, unfortunately, this individual immediately changes back to his own, personal slant.

The slanted POV writing on the page was clearly written from this individual’s personal POV. This contributor, Blueboy96, says that the edits I have made are a copyright violation. The information I posted is actually verifiable on the Every Nation corporate website and is not subject to copyright, as stated on their copyright policy:

Mediation

[edit]

Thelma -- I'm the mediator for your case on Every Nation. I've left behind a bunch of questions and I've been holding up the page waiting for you. I can't do this indefinitely. Next time you log in please let me know status on responses. jbolden1517Talk 21:49, 14 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Apologies for the delay in my response. It was the weekend here in the Philippines and I only go online when I'm at the office. My address is . <firstname><lastname> AT everynation DOT org

Thank you for the email address! I'm changing your email address so you don't get picked up by a spam bot (internet safety). BTW the normal way to do this is to to go the "my preferences" tab (which you will see center to mid right on the very top of each screen) and activate email from there. jbolden1517Talk 11:43, 15 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding the answers to your questions in the Talk Page, please give me until tomorrow (or rather 24 hours?) to post. Thanks! Thelma Bowlen 08:42, 15 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

OK I"ll wait. jbolden1517Talk 11:43, 15 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

No problem

[edit]

No problem. The original research policy prohibits new analysis or interpretation, so while a user like BlueBoy would be able to refer to other sources, he can't start drawing fresh conclusions or making new analyses of the evidence. David L Rattigan 08:47, 20 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Here are the new pages

[edit]

As per my email

jbolden1517Talk 01:47, 30 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks! Wondering if there's a way to rename these? Just for future reference and not crucial to know now... Thelma BowlenTalk 07:20, 1 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Yes. If you look at the top of any page there is a "move" button. Move = rename. And of course subpage2 doesn't exist yet since you haven't started editing it so you can just change the name inside the link. jbolden1517Talk 11:44, 1 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Giving credit where credit is due

[edit]

As you've probably figured out by now, I'm not a very big fan of Every Nation, and there is no way, no how I'll ever quit speaking out about what they did to me at Carolina. But I have to admit, you've been way more forthcoming in this last month or so than I've ever seen in the last 7+ years from MSI/EN put together. The thing that bugs me almost as much as what Waymaker/VCM/ENCM did to me is how in the world KPIC can get away with lying about its founding date when evidence to the contrary is available on the public record. EN Mediation

[edit]

Hi Thelma, I have been following all the edits to both the discussion and the main page, and it's starting to look great, and is starting to address what is the umbrella of EN and what are just the actions of specific people or churches... Thanks for taking the time to make sure a fair article is posted! --DaveHarris 13:29, 19 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

David L Rattigan/EN Mediation

[edit]

Hi, Thelma. It really wouldn't be fair of me to offer to do the mediation, as I know I'd only end up not being able to devote the time to it. However, I'll keep an eye on things as a regular contributor, and step in if I have the time. Sorry for the delay in my reply. Cheerio, David L Rattigan 22:57, 8 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Kiarostami

[edit]

Hi Thelma Bowlen

I am working on film director Abbas Kiarostami. The article have been copyedited several times. Still there might be some more need for copy editting. There might be problems that escape me. It is very kind of you if you could take a look at that. Thanks. Sangak 09:03, 16 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks a lot. The changes improved the article. Thank you for your kind helps and feedbacks. Take care. Sangak 08:31, 19 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Kiarostami: FAC

[edit]

Hi

I would like to invite all those who reviewed "Abbas Kiarostami" during last two months to comment on the article at this "final" stage. The article is now featured article candidate. In case you have any comment, please let me know on the Wikipedia:Featured article candidates/Abbas Kiarostami page. Thanks.Sangak 16:31, 25 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I need to thank you for your kind assistance and support. The article would not come to FA status without your helps. Thanks and All the best. Sangak Talk 11:29, 3 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Every Nation mediation

[edit]

The Every Nation mediation has been started at Talk:Every Nation/mediation. Please give your input and proposals there. Thanks! Seraphimblade Talk to me 07:54, 27 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

There's nothing official about it anyway. :) But sure, we can do that. Seraphimblade Talk to me 09:21, 30 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for letting me know. You may want to let everyone else involved know as well, since it's been inactive for quite a while. Seraphimblade Talk to me 08:56, 2 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

David L Rattigan

[edit]

Hi Thelma, hope things are going okay at the Every Nation mediation. Sorry I wasn't able to be around to help out. I have been extraordinarily busy the last couple months, and haven't been regularly contributing to Wikipedia for ages! Take care, David L Rattigan 07:28, 18 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Greetings from the League of Copyeditors. Your name is listed on our members page, but we are unsure how many of the people listed there are still active contributors to the League's activities. If you are still interested in participating in the work of the League, please follow the instructions at the members page to add your name to the active members list. Once you have done that, you might want to familiarise yourself with the new requests system, which has replaced the old /proofreading subpage. As the old system is now deprecated, the main efforts of the League should be to clear the substantial backlog which still exists there.
The League's services are in as high demand as ever, as evinced by the increasing backlog on our requests pages, both old and new. While FA and GA reviewers regularly praise the League's contributions to reviewed articles, we remain perennially understaffed. Fulfilling requests to polish the prose of Wikipedia's highest-profile articles is a way that editors can make a very noticeable difference to the appearance of the encyclopedia. On behalf of the League, if you do consider yourself to have left, I hope you will consider rejoining; if you consider yourself inactive, I hope you will consider returning to respond to just one request per week, or as many as you can manage. Merry Christmas and happy editing, The League of Copyeditors.
