This is me!

[edit]

Hello! I studied History of Art and I travel, live and work between Peru and Surrey, England. I write features for a living; you have likely read something I wrote if, like me, you are interested in travel, politics and art.

I started off contributing to about two dozen pages in Wikipedia in my first few months - generally I prefer not to sign in as you people out there can be exasperatingly persistent in discussions! And I do have stuff to write for a living elsewhere you know! thegirlinwhite 11:10, 8 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome!

Hello Thegirlinwhite, and Welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some good places to get you started!

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please be sure to sign your name on talk pages by using four tildes (~~~~) to produce your name and the current date, or just three tildes (~~~) to produce your name only. If you have any questions, or are worried/confused about anything at all, please either visit the help desk, or leave a new message on my talk page at any time. Happy editing, good luck, and remember: Be Bold!

Performance artists

[edit]

Thanks for your input. Having the conversation at my talk page keeps others from seeing your opinion, so it's best to join the discussion at the talk page for Performance art. -- Norvy (talk) 03:36, 7 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Vandalism on Magic (illusion)

[edit]

There was indeed a spot of vandalism on the article, but someone dealt with it before I got there. If you want to learn how to revert vandalism yourself, visit Wikipedia:Revert for instructions. Happy editing! BTW, could you tell me how you came across my name? Was it the talk page of the magic article or was it somewhere else? - Mgm|(talk) 07:51, 26 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I think it was the talk page of the magic article. Keep up your great work - you seem to be a Wiki stalwart! thegirlinwhite 15:38, 26 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Intense..

[edit]

Aargh! I have begun having far too intense experiences of Wikipedia. Offputting. There is more conflict out there than you could shake a fist at.. thegirlinwhite 23:46, 5 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

What ever do you mean, babydoll? Are some of the more animated, persistent Wikipedians starting to get to you? It seems so. Well, if you'd like a suggestion as to how to monetize your writing skills, drop me a line at Sam Freedom's Internet Marketing Controversy Blog. Ciao...ps. keep up the good work, you seem like a good sport. pps. The conflict you're shaking a fist at is all internal...seriously, just wiki for it, somewhere in there is an article or two on Buddhism. :-)
Dear @Thegirlinwhite:: Please continue your efforts to edit. I have had different opinions with people but I let it not get to me. Geraldshields11 (talk) 17:44, 6 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

drop in will ya

[edit]

hey. you contrbtued o this artcel aladin which looks like it nedds attentiion again. Tiksustoo 00:09, 2 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hello and welcome back I presume? Your edits are really excellent everywhere, not just as above. Your writing speaks for itself. Can you just for a final time verify whatever material you can in relation to aladin? Never to be disturbed again. Although I have texted my friend in London to check British Library where he goes often. You have done this on the article's own discussion page but you need to do this at the AfD one as well.
